Just like her big sis, Noah Cyrus knows that blood is thicker than water.
Cyrus, daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and sister of Grammy-winning pop star Miley Cyrus, reflected on recent media speculation that her family was going through an intense rift in an interview with People magazine published Aug. 21.
"I keep myself quite separated from any interest or 'drama' with the family," Cyrus, 25, told the outlet. "The one thing that's connected us with the entire world is music, and that's what's the most important to us."
Cyrus' comments come three months after Miley Cyrus opened up about reconciling with their father, Billy Ray, after his 2022 divorce from Tish Cyrus.

"I took on some of my mom's hurt as my own because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult, and so I owned a lot of her pain," Miley told The New York Times in a May interview. "But now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too — I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing."
Cyrus told People that while speculation about her family life can be emotionally "draining," the constant scrutiny "doesn't hurt us or touch us."
"It's something that you really learn to keep separate and far away from yourself," she added.

The Cyrus clan has been the subject of feud rumors since Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus announced their divorce in April 2022.
Tish Cyrus remarried nearly a year and a half later, tying the knot with "Prison Break" actor Dominic Purcell in a small poolside ceremony at Miley Cyrus' Malibu home in August 2023. Rumors later emerged that Purcell had a romantic relationship with Noah before becoming involved with Tish.
Additional speculation of a family rift intensified in January when Cyrus' older brother, singer-songwriter Trace Cyrus, accused Billy Ray Cyrus of threatening legal action against him over a previous social media post expressing concern for the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer's well-being.

Cyrus, who's reportedly shared messages of support for both Billy Ray and Tish on social media, debunked the notion of a possible feud in her interview with People magazine.
"Everybody's great and loves each other," Cyrus said. "When you grow up with that being normal — things being public — that it doesn't quite reach you. At the end of the day, this is a family, and that's really it: just going through normal family stuff."
