One way to get me to go to the movies? Put Austin Butler and Bad Bunny in a film together.

Case in point: I found myself immediately Googling for tickets after I stumbled upon some photos of the heartthrobs this afternoon, as they posted together on the red carpet in support of their new drama film, Caught Stealing.

At the New York City premiere on Tuesday, Benito and Butler offered up their individual takes on red carpet dressing, and they gave us two distinct, but equally suave looks to feast upon.

For his part, Butler put a luxury spin on the greaser uniform with a leather suit from Givenchy.

The set consisted of a single-breasted, peak lapel jacket paired with slim pants and inky patent leather dress shoes. The Oscar nominee added an extra element of coolness by throwing on a pair of dark sunglasses, and underneath the jacket, he went totally shirtless (and the world thanks him). For accessories, he wore a silver metal watch and a dainty silver necklace.

Following a string of shows in Puerto Rico, Bad Bunny also managed to make it to the Big Apple event, where he wore a dressy Saint Laurent ensemble.

Pulled from the brand’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, the creamy look embraced a bit of a sartorial switcheroo, with a ribbed undershirt layered over a white button-up and clay striped tie.

To complete the look, the “NUEVAYoL” singer wore a pair of eggshell-colored dress pants, and he added a couple pops of color with ruched leather loafers in burgundy and round Chanel sunglasses with wine-colored frames. He also wore a single hoop earring and a watch with a brown leather wristband.

Caught Stealing tells the story of a former baseball player (Butler) who finds himself entangled in the criminal world of NYC during the late ’90s, where he engages with gangsters like Colorado (Bad Bunny).

The film hits theaters in the U.S. on August 29. Expect to catch me seated, because this red carpet was... good marketing.
